About the Role 

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. Be part of an award-winning Salesforce team as we help transform government services in the US. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be working remotely with Salesforce teams in the US & PH on a flexible schedule. You will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of Salesforce applications.

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a system developer for the Salesforce platform, owning items such as declarative system configuration, user setup and permissions, reports and dashboards, and creation and maintenance of necessary data

  • Manage and maintain data feeds and other integrations into the Salesforce platform

  • Build new applications, processes and integrations on the organization’s Salesforce platform

  • Provide technical support to internal stakeholders regarding system issues and processes

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with developers to provide timely fixes and resolutions to ensure business continuity

  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather functional requirements for new change requests

  • Support the Product and Engineering teams to design scalable, intuitive, and elegant solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet business needs

  • Collaborate with developers to design test cases and validate that the implemented solutions will meet requirements

  • Assisted provision of training and system demos to internal stakeholders for any new functionality or system processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working in a developer role within the Salesforce ecosystem

  • A self-starter who can work through configuration with high-level requirements provided 

  • Ability to fill in gaps, take initiative, and put together POC configurations for internal review as needed

  • Proficiency with Salesforce security architecture, complex sharing for internal and external access to records, implications of enabled features, Person Accounts, etc.

  • Strong experience with cloud, portal authentication, CSS, and formatting for end-user delivery

  • Proficiency with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura, etc. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems

  • Experience with Data Loader, experience with mass migration to Salesforce from legacy systems and preservation of object relationships

  • Strong experience with Flows and complex automation

  • Experience with DevOps tools and complex deployment landscapes (Blue Canvas, Gearset, Copado, etc.)

  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written. High attention to detail, testing and documentation

  • Must be able to take calls during working hours of US Central Time Zone to collaborate with the Chicago team

  • Certifications are a plus but not required
