Spectrum One is a strategic engineering partner for high-growth startups and established corporations. Since 2015, we have helped our clients raise over $150M in funding. We are a profitable business with consistent double-digit year-over-year growth.
We are scaling our engineering team and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in AI and LLM systems to lead the development of our intelligent document processing pipeline. This is a high-impact, technical role where your work will directly shape the core product. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand document processing challenges and translate them into robust, scalable AI solutions. We value the quality of your output above the length of your resume.
Technical Expert: You bring expert-level GenAI / LLM workflow development for end-to-end pipeline design in production. You have robust experience with OCR, handling multi-page PDF processing, and extracting unstructured data.
Self-Directed Professional: You take ownership of your work and can scope, prioritize, and execute with minimal hand-holding.
Comfortable with Ambiguity: You thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments and love solving problems at the intersection of AI and real-world data.
Iterative & Detail-Oriented: You ship incrementally, learn fast, and improve continuously, while maintaining a high bar for output quality and consistency.
Strong Communicator: You are clear and concise across async and sync channels, and you work well collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bonus Points: Experience with computer vision for technical drawings, vector databases, or RAG workflows, multi-modal models, or prior exposure to engineering and architectural document types.
High-Trust Environment: We hire adults. We don't track keystrokes or enforce arbitrary hours. We care about the quality of your output.
Deep Work: We minimize meetings to protect your focus time. We operate asynchronously by default.
International Standards: You will work with top-tier international clients, building systems that scale and handle real-world traffic.
Real Strategic Influence: We expect engineers to drive technical decisions. You will have a direct hand in shaping the architecture and product roadmap.
Autonomy by Default: We reject the traditional agency model of "churn and burn." We provide the context and the goal, then we trust you to execute.
A Culture of Excellence: You will be surrounded by high-performers who push you to be better. We believe in continuous evolution and provide the environment you need to do the best work of your career.
Top-of-Market Compensation: High base salary benchmarked against industry standards, plus annual performance-based bonuses.
Annual Summit: A fully-funded, company-wide Out of Country retreat to celebrate our wins.
Hardware & Gear: We provide the latest tech (MacBook Pro or equivalent) and other equipment to ensure your workspace is ergonomic and productive.
Professional Development Budget: We provide an annual budget for courses, certifications, books, and conferences. We want you to stay sharp.
Time Off & Wellness: Generous paid leave policy, full medical coverage (HMO), and mental health support for you and your dependents.
