The Opportunity Spectrum One is a strategic engineering partner for high-growth startups and established corporations. Since 2015, we have helped our clients raise over $150M in funding. We are a profitable business with consistent double-digit year-over-year growth.
We are scaling our engineering team and looking for multiple developers. We prioritize capability over tenure. We are looking for engineers who can architect and ship production-ready software with high autonomy. We value the quality of your output above the length of your resume.
Who We Are Looking For
You are a Professional. You take ownership of your work. You don't need to be micro-managed to deliver.
You Value Craftsmanship. You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. You care about the long-term health of the codebase, not just closing tickets.
You Have High Agency. You identify problems and fix them before they are assigned. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Why Engineers Choose Us

Professional Development Budget: We provide an annual budget for courses, certifications, books, and conferences. We want you to stay sharp.
Permanent Remote: Work from home or anywhere you are most productive.
Time Off & Wellness: Generous paid leave policy, full medical coverage (HMO), and mental health support for you and your dependents.
We are looking for a Mid-level Developer to handle a dual-focus workload: maintaining existing enterprise systems on .NET Framework and building new applications using .NET 8. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of development, from database optimization to front-end implementation.
We need someone pragmatic who can debug complex legacy code today and implement clean architecture in .NET 8 tomorrow. This role requires careful refactoring and migration of live systems, not just greenfield development.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Maintenance: Support legacy web applications built on .NET Framework 4.8 (MVC) to ensure stability. Simultaneously, develop new modules and services using .NET 8.
Database Architecture:
Maintain and optimize data access layers using Entity Framework 6 (for legacy) and EF Core (for modern apps).
Write and optimize complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers. You must be comfortable working with raw SQL for high-transaction scenarios where ORMs are insufficient.
Migration Strategy: Execute the migration of specific modules from legacy frameworks to .NET 8, ensuring zero downtime and data integrity.
Full-Stack Implementation: Build user interfaces using Bootstrap 5. You will use jQuery for maintaining legacy views and implement modern vanilla JS or Blazor for new components.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience deploying and managing resources on Azure (specifically App Services and Azure SQL) or AWS.
Frontend Frameworks: Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular. (We value the ability to guide future UI migrations away from jQuery).
DevOps: Ability to configure and maintain build/release pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Design Patterns: Experience introducing Dependency Injection into legacy .NET applications (e.g., using Unity or Autofac) and utilizing built-in DI in .NET 8.
Required Technical Skills
C# & .NET: Proficient in both .NET Framework 4.8 (MVC) for legacy systems and .NET 8 for new service architecture.
Data Access: Experience with Entity Framework 6 (EDMX/Code-First) and implementing EF Core in modern environments.
Database (SQL Server): Advanced T-SQL scripting (stored procedures, views) and performance tuning (execution plans, indexing).
Frontend: Bootstrap 5 for responsive layouts and jQuery for maintaining legacy client-side logic.
Pragmatism: The ability to choose the right tool for the job (knowing when to refactor vs. when to rewrite).
Communication: Ability to explain technical debt and modernization strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
For full-time: flexible hours, just need to be online or attend calls from 10pm to 2am PH time. For part time: 10pm to 2am or 5am onwards PH time
