We are looking for experienced WordPress Web Developers to work with our talented team of professionals on some of our most rewarding projects for the US Market. Your proficiency in web development and WordPress will be critical in delivering high-quality digital solutions that cater to various needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom themes, plugins, and modules for WordPress, ensuring seamless integration of design and functionality
Implement responsive web designs that offer optimal user experiences across different devices and screen sizes
Collaborate with the design team to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect WordPress themes and templates
Customize and extend WordPress functionality through custom theme and plugin development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and project managers, to translate client requirements into compelling web solutions using WordPress and possibly other content management systems such as Drupal
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and web development, incorporating relevant advancements into your work
Experience in other content management systems such as Drupal is a big plus
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to colleagues and maintaining coding standards and quality
Assist in website migrations and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions to newer versions of WordPress
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
Hands-on experience in relevant technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JS
Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing past WordPress projects
Good understanding of WordPress architecture, APIs, and theming capabilities
Experience in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, is a big plus
Knowledge of web security best practices and techniques
Can work or be online between 9pm to 1am (Philippine time) to collaborate with the Chicago team
Availability can be 20 to 40 hours per week
